My Posts are so short-winded nowadays. Sorry about that.

Anyway, if you’re on a Mac (duh?) go to System Preferences then Sharing. There are some interesting things there.

If you enable file sharing, you can share files (duh?) with other Macs on the network just by looking for the host computer (with all the cool files) in Finder, under the “Sharing” category on the left sidebar. I hope that was clear….if not, figure it out yourself, drop me a comment, or email me (check About page)

If you enable screen sharing, you are basically setting up a VNC server (I think) so that devices such as other computers (cool) and iPhones (eveeeen cooler) can connect to your computer, see your screen, do all kinds of crazy stuff.

Shout Out to the Readers!

        This is a shout out to my readers (though I don’t have many) about how to use the maps function on the iPhone. More specifically, how to use your current gps location as the start location for directions.
I actually haven’t checked the Apple tips site but I will once I get off this darned slow EDGE network.

My iPhone 3G!

Very nice! This is from my iPhone 3G right now, using WordPress’s free open source app.
Wow… EDGE is truly much slower than 3G! But overall I am loving it! The touch responsiveness and application freeze-ups are disappointing but the keyboard is actually quite good, especially with the spelling suggester.

iPhone Colors

God, you gotta be kidding me… A possibility of different iPhone colors in like 1-2 months?!? How am I going to live with myself if I get an iPhone within 1 week and then lose that chance?

Math Derivative Tool & Keyword

So I started learning Calculus a while ago and having this online derivative tool is very useful! Especially since I’m going to get an iPhone (I haven’t ever not mentioned that in posts)

         I checked the iPhone Availability Tool @ 9:10 PM on Saturday (yesterday) and seeing the almost complete availability @ all stores in CA, I got my hopes up and decided to get an iPhone early on Sunday.

          I checked the iPhone availability tool and they finally are expecting or have stock for every store in California.

EDIT 2: As of now (unless you already had downloaded it) it looks like NullRiver is still trying to get NetShare back up.

       This app is simply a MUST for people who have bought the iPhone 3G and the complementary 3G data plan that comes with it ($30). If you are paying $30 for unlimited data (actually it is technically 5GB per month) you might as well be able to share that 3G internet connection with your laptop!

iPhone, Out of My Reach

         It is soooooo hard for me to get an iPhone 3G! First, Apple underestimated demand for the iPhone 3G (impressive 1 million iPhones [edit: corrected] sold in 3 days) and now they still don’t have a huge supply of iPhones.
Perhaps it is all marketing???
